Dr. Turner believes that implants are often the most predictable and cosmetic way to replace missing or badly damaged teeth. Once in place, implant restorations look and function just like natural teeth. They do not rely on other teeth and they will not decay or otherwise break down under normal conditions. Dr. Turner uses a highly trained Periodontist (gum specialist) to place the implants and then finishes the restoration once the implants have fused to the bone.
A single tooth can be replaced with dental implants, as well as several teeth. We also now can replace a full set of teeth with a restoration called a Fixed Hybrid Denture or All-on-4 (permanent teeth in a day). These restorations are state-of-the-art full mouth constructions.
